When I joined inDriver, I was truly amazed by its story. Started in 2012 in the most northern city in the world as a local social media group of independent drivers (or inDriver) to fight the high prices set by local taxi drivers. In less than 10 years it grew as the 2nd largest ride-hailing service in the world. Operating in 700+ cities in 47 countries. The secret behind this technological unicorn success is about passionate people challenging injustice. And about real people who want to bring back control from technology back to people. Who doesn’t agree with high prices set by algorithms. Or with large corporations charging unfair commissions for drivers. Now inDriver becomes inDrive. What seems like a small change to a name is a big leap for a brand. Something we’ve been working hard as the team. inDrive is daring to disrupt and humanize the category. And going beyond ride-hailing. Empowering people. Providing something that we all wanted for a long time - more human rides & fair fares. Through human tech. inDrive today is not only about rides. It’s transforming into a marketplace of services where people can agree directly. From local services to courier and freight deliveries. And in the future planning to enter new segments – fintech to food-tech & e-commerce. I’m super excited to become a part of this amazing journey. And happy that we’ve achieved a rebranding milestone with an amazing team of passionate professionals in quite a short period of time! Rock on! 🚀
